Doily Purse DIY :: Statesboro Wedding Photographer ::
I love all things lace, ruffles, flowers- anything girly! I came across this purse in TJ Maxx one day that was white and it was a backpack type but it had this cute lace/doily down the front! I was in love but NOT in love enough to pay the clearance price of $20. Yes I know i'm very frugile. Once you shop at Goodwill alot, you'll soon realize that all the stuff in the department stores that you love will eventually find it's way to the GW- you just have to be patient and boy is that the hard part :) So long story short, i'm in TJ Maxx again and I find this purse on sale for $13.00 much better since i had spend the past 3 months searching for the perfect white purse at GW and no luck. I had to have it and I wanted to add the doily lace to it!!
So i took some Heat N Bond Hem and ironed it on! *be cautious not to iron the purse's fake leather* It didn't take long at all and I love the look of it! Enjoy! and i've started a group pool of pictures on flickr if you'd like to share you inspired creations!! http://www.flickr.com/groups/1704141@N24/pool/

Baby Evy :: Statesboro Newborn Photographer
I've always heard that when you have a baby you fall in love again but i honestly have not seen it until I was able to photograph this family. M&E have been married for 5 years and their little girl "Evy" is the love of their lives. Their connection behind the camera was so incredible and encouraging to me. To know that couples can share the love they have with a new life is honestly just breathtaking. I enjoyed every minute of this session and like I said, i could photograph this beautiful family everyday. I was so glad that she wanted me to come out to her home because it totally represents their lives and this time in their lives. 5 years from now they can go back and remember their little girl so small and delicate on their king bed. I had so many favorites so excuse me for posting soo many :) enjoy my friends.

DIY Fabric Flowers :: Savannah Wedding Photographer ::
I have a couple of minutes before I head out so I wanted to post a little easy DIY for Fabric Flowers! I always make these when friends come into town or for photoshoots and i just love them!
Heres the simple steps sorry I don't have photos of the process:
1. cut a strip of fabric about 1in wide and 2 feet long & cut out a small circle of felt to glue it down to
2. fold it in half- hot dog style :)
3. roll up one end to make the center then drop a tiny dot of hot glue :) yeah baby!
4. from here you just twist and turn. hold your center and just twist around it until you get to the end (make sure the point don't line up, just like a flower)
5. put a generous amount of hotglue on the felt and stick your flower too it :)
6. put your new cute flower on anything you want :) you can stick a safety pin to the back, glue it to a headband, make a necklace, your options are endless :) enjoy!
Here's a headband I made with a friend recently :) It's my new favorite!
Headband is from the DOLLAR TREE :) and yellow fabric is from a pillowcase from Goodwill! Monday, June 6, 2011
Erin + Peter :: Savannah Wedding Photographer ::
Erin + Peter have such an amazing connection. They met a couple of years ago in Savannah during the St. Patty's celebrations, which is why they choose this beautiful city and backdrop as their wedding destination. It started with a glamorous day at the salon, then a gorgeous room at the East Bay inn overlooking beautiful Bay St., the ceremony was at Johnson Square and the reception at the new gorgeous venue 10 Downing! It was memorial day, and it was a perfect day for a Marine to join hands with a beautiful bride :) Here are the lovely details of the day, which were laid out so fabulously by the talent Posh, Petals, and Pearls! Harvey Designs did a fabulous job on the flower arrangements as well. Beautiful Makeup by Karen Hughes of Dollface by Jules! Thank you Erin + Peter for letting me share this beautiful day with you!
